Students from Slammer Tennis World whacked balls, played games and did push-ups as part of the group's sixth annual jamboree Friday at Mathews Park in Norwalk. Coach Marvin Tyler ran the free, three-hour session for students who have been practicing all winter at the indoor courts at Ben Franklin School. Guest speaker Paul Iannacone from LA Fitness showed the players exercises, including push-ups, and Kitty Rodriguez, a seventh-grade science teacher at Rippowam Middle School in Stamford, talked about the value of education.
