NORWALK, Conn. – Members of Gracie Sports in Norwalk competed in a Brazilian jiu jitsu martial arts tournament at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, R.I.

Eleven young athletes from Gracie participated, with Jacob Gonzales, Justin McNamara and Skylar Davidson earning first place. Jason Singer also placed for Gracie, which is coached by Marcio Stambowsky. Other coaches are Maurcio Clemente, Thiago SilbaTodd, Sandy Bucaro and Debra Stambowsky.

Brazilian jiu jitsu is a form of martial arts. Videos of matches by Gonzales and McNamara are available online.
