The Norwalk Recreation and Parks softball playoffs are wrapping up in several leagues.

NORWALK, Conn. – Diageo and the Norwalk Police Department meet Thursday in the Norwalk Recreation and Parks Industrial League softball championship game. First pitch is at 7 p.m. at Calf Pasture Beach.

Diageo finished in second place during the regular season with an 11-3 record. Norwalk Police finished 8-6.

The East and West Divisions of the Recreation and Parks tournament resume Friday. In the East Division, the winners bracket semifinals match Smitty’s Softball vs. Gators at 6 p.m.  and The Aces vs. East Coast Irrigation at 7 p.m. The Aces are the defending East Division champions. In the losers bracket, the Bandits play the Wildcats at 8 p.m. and the Titans meet Marinello’s Pizza at 9.

In the West Division, the winners bracket semifinals pit T. Green Carting vs. the Bulldogs at 6 and K-Star vs. Vitti Landscape at 7. In the losers bracket, the Raiders meets the Rebels at 8 and the Cougars meet Phils Restoration at 9.

In the Adult Wood Bat Softball League, Bill & Tony's Power Club advanced to next Wednesday's championship game with a pair of wins Wednesday night. Lajoie's Auto Parts, the Gators and Davinci Pizza are also still alive in the losers bracket of the tournament. The Gators are the regular-season co-champions. The other co-champion, 99 Bottles, was eliminated with two losses on Wednesday.
