The Daily Norwalk is a community news site. We are dedicated to supplying neighbors with the news and information they want, to providing businesses with an effective way to reach their customers, and to making the community a better place to live.
The Daily Norwalk is part of the growing family of Main Street Connect, a national community news company. Main Street Connect’s mission is empower local entrepreneurs to produce high-quality profitable community news sites and to knit those sites into a national communications network. Main Street Connect’s sites are about neighbors, by neighbors, for neighbors. The well-being and prosperity of our communities is our incessant concern.
Alex has worked as an intern for various news organizations including MSNBC's Morning Joe. She recently graduated from Marist with a degree in journalism and is now reporting news for The Daily Greenwich.
Alissa Letkowski is a recent graduate of the University of Connecticut with a dual degree in both Journalism and Communications. She was born and raised in Fairfield County and has lived in several towns across the area.
Anna Helhoski has freelanced and interned for various news outlets covering New York state politics, human interest features and the local news for Westchester County. She is now a reporter for The Daily Greenwich. She recently graduated summa cum laude from Purchase College with a degree in journalism.
Cornelia Fortier has been covering Fairfield County's entertainment scene for the past five years. She drives the Enjoy section, as well as covers news, neighbors, pets and more.
News Editor Dan Berman, who has lived in Fairfield County for nearly 25 years, has been an editor and writer for the Stamford Advocate. He also was an editor for The New York Times. He has oversight of all the News and Neighbors content on all the Fairfield County sites.

Sports Reporter Eric Gendron is a graduate of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. He covered Ithaca area sports, including Cornell University, for ICTV. A Norwalk resident, Eric lives for all things sports.
Felicia has been a correspondent, reporter and/or editor for the Connecticut Post (for which she served as bureau chief), New Haven Register, Baltimore Sun and Queens (New York) Tribune. An Honors graudate of Syracuse University, Felicia earned her journalism degree from its S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She also holds two graduate degrees from Yale University.
Fenella Pearson is a transplanted Brit who has lived in Fairfield County for over 20 years, first in Wilton, where she raised four healthy and happy children, and now in South Norwalk. Fenella is our Home & Garden Editor as well as the Real Estate Editor. She is a licensed interior designer specializing in residential design. She also writes a blog called The Adventurer about her current journey with breast cancer, which you can find in our Opinion section. When she’s not working, she might be rowing on the Norwalk River or digging in her garden.
Greg Canuel, who grew up in Bridgeport, attended school in Fairfield for 13 years, first at Our Lady of Assumption and later at Fairfield Prep. This is his first full-time job, and he's thrilled to be covering Fairfield.
Jeff Craig was a copy editor at the New York Daily News for 17 years before joining MainStreetConnect. A lifelong resident of Westport, he was also an editor at The Record in Hackensack, N.J., for many years. His interests include reading, running and travel.
Joseph Cole is the Westport chief news reporter, covers the town's big stories, as well as Westport neighbors and anything else that makes Westport tick. He's written for a variety of weekly and daily publications and served as editor for the Hamden Chronicle.
Julie Curtis has lived and worked in Fairfield County for almost 20 years. A New York City native, she has written for television, newspapers, magazines and the internet and her credits range from sitcoms and reality television to newspapers, magazines and the internet.
Moina Noor is a lifelong Norwalker who has written for the New York Times and The Stamford Advocate. Her blog, NorwalkNet.com, covers education, something she really knows about, as the mom of three. Now she's reporting on Fairfield, too.
Summer intern
Managing Editor Thomas Cain coordinates coverage throughout all of our Fairfield County sites. In addition to management, he has an impressive background in photography and photojournalism. His work has appeared in several prominent Connecticut newspapers, as well as the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Chicago Tribune. He has lived in Fairfield County for most of his life.
Born and raised in Stamford, TJ Buzzeo recently graduated from Quinnipiac University with his bachelor's degree in journalism. While at Quinnipiac TJ wrote for the school's on-line newspaper, The Quad-News. He will be writing anything and everything to get his friends and neighbor's the stories they want to read and talk about.
Fairfield reporter Tom Cleary is a lifelong Connecticut resident who has just recently graduated from Fairfield University and covers Fairfield news, schools and sports. While at Fairfield, Tom worked as the editor-in-chief and sports editor of the student newspaper, the Fairfield Mirror. He has also written for the Connecticut Post, Stamford Advocate and Hartford Courant.
No one knows local sports quite like Tom Renner, The Daily Fairfied's Sports Editor. For 22 years, he covered the field for The Stamford Advocate. He's been in Fairfield County since 1987.
Food Editor Wendy Logan formerly owned SoNo's Tra-Peze Bistro and Bar. She writes bi-monthly food reviews for the Fairfield County Weekly and is the publisher/editor of The Norwalk Beat, a quarterly arts, food, and lifestyle publication. Wendy has lived in Norwalk for 14 years.
