FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — A touch of winter could bring a few inches of snow and chilly temperatures to Fairfield County this weekend.

Snow could begin Friday night and continue through the day Saturday, dropping between 2 and 4 inches throughout Fairfield County, the National Weather Service says.

"Light accumulations are expected by daybreak. ... The chances of significant snowfall remain very low for ... southwest Connecticut," the Weather Service said Friday morning.

The snow should end by early Saturday afternoon, and the rest of the day will be blustery, the Weather Service says.

On Saturday night, which brings a slight chance of snow, temperatures should drop to as low as 20, with a high of only 31 predicted for Sunday, the Weather Service says.
