WILTON, Conn. – A Norwalk woman was arrested after a witness saw her yelling at two children she was taking care of in a drugstore, said Wilton Police Lt. Donald Wakeman.
Wakeman said Tammy Lindquist, 48, was also seen shoving a girl, 5, and boy, 2, into a car at the Wilton CVS on Old Ridgefield Road. The witness said Lindquist strangled one of the kids in the car, Wakeman said, but police found no signs of “physical harm” on the children when officers stopped the car leaving the parking lot.
Lindquist was taken into custody and the children were released into the care of one of their parents, Wakeman said. She is due to appear in court on Jan. 3, 2012.
