Good luck Leicester Little League

Someone should be checking out this voting. There's no explanation for the amount of votes for these top two spots other than something fishy going on like people voting under different emails or some online voting robot or something. I hope The Daily Millbury checks it all out. We'll see in the end how it all turns out.

orsche: Aim High ☜✪☞” 11 out of the 4 top vote getters are not registered with the Commonwealth of MA Secretary of State Office. It will be interesting to see if these “non-profits” can generate their own IRS letter showing they are indeed “non-profits” with their name and address listed for their organization located within and serving territory for this Promotion and not an International 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization.

The Leicester Little League needs the support and votes from all people that can vote daily. I am sending support from San Francisco, CA and can only hope the children will have the votes needed. I know this will help through the tough times and wish there was more to go around. Good luck team. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do.

We are all winners.

Couldn't agree more. Two great programs. Project new hope and the Leicester Little League. Only wish they could both win as both rely solely on the support of the community. Good luck to both!!!

As a non-profit organization, that has been a part of this community for over 50 years, Leicester Little League is financially self sufficient. The League raises funds to support all aspects of this baseball program. Our primary focus is the wellbeing and safety of the children in the program. Last year we purchased an AED (automated electronic defibrillator machine) that is kept at the field. Each year we invest in upgrading our baseball equipment, and purchase many first aid kits.

Over the past three seasons many repairs to the fields have been made, from the reconstruction of the Tee ball field, the replacing of fencing that encloses the fields to the latest investment in the renovation of the Minor League field. The League has remained committed to the upkeep of the fields to provide the children with the best possible conditions while wile maintaining a registration fee that is fair and reasonable.

Why should the Leicester Little League WIN this generous donation. The Leicester Little League should win so that we can continue to provide this level of commitment over the next several years, so the Leicester Little League can continue to give back to the community and so that the children of this community can rest assured that the league will be around for another 50 years. A donation of $5000 would go a very long way in providing the children of this comminute with a baseball organization that relies purely on the funds it raises
